Crowdfunding opportunity: 'The Red Squirrel: A future in the forest' - David Brimble
I can’t wait to get started producing this book, which is currently campaigning for funding on Kickstarter. I have done some specification development, costings and other planning work on it, working with Wild Media Foundation and Scotland: The Big Picture to support their work using Photography to promote and support Rewilding efforts in Scotland, and indeed the wider world. Sure there will be pictures of the wonderful Red Squirrel but also of the glorious Cairngorms, with text discussing the issues and challenges of managing habit so nature and wildlife can thrive.
The nerve-wracking bit is that the crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing affair. You reach the target or the project doesn’t get a penny. It’s off to a really good start in its first week, but there is a way to go. Please support it if you can, either by pre-ordering a copy or by sharing the campaign with others, either on social media or any old other way.
The video below gives more insight into the work which has gone into this and a flavour of what you’ll be getting if you buy a copy. The campaign runs for the rest of November.
A link to the campaign is below the video. Click on that and it’ll take you through to the Kickstarter page, for more information about the items on offer.
